Pantone calls ‘Mocha Mousse’ the color of the year for 2025

Earthy, calm, luxurious. The Mocha is a neutral shade that is basic, but rich in possibilities. The shade represents our need to connect with the basics, a sense of comfort and serenity. Though the shade is soft, it allows for subtle elevation through design and style. The selection of this shade is part on elaborating a larger connection to ‘ a sense of rootedness and balance’.

Sonam Kapoor has the perfect looks to make this shade work for you.

For her Diwali look this year, Sonam wore this fabulous mocha cape with beige.  She picked diverse pieces to make the fashion forward look come together, the broderie anglaise cape added to the neutrality of the flowy georgette dress.  Her bold accessory was the statement piece, a ruffled white rose fabric necklace.

Sonam wore a Tamara Ralph peplum skirt suit in mocha with panache.  A mocha tweed tailleur accentuated with metallic overtones, it was embellished with more gold chains. The straight full sleeve jacket and pencil skirt offer a sleek option to style the shade.  Mocha works with a similar shade tone to create depth and narrative.

Sonam worked Mocha into accessories with a trendy blazer and cap in an outfit that screamed ‘cool’ all the way.

Sonam married mocha to white in a sensational flowy gown from Bioni atelier. A tie and die gown representing a tree’s growth rings, the gown was styled with a structured jacket.
