Bridal Inspiration Keerthi Suresh

South India’s favorite Malayalam actor Keerthi Suresh tied the knot with Antony Thattil in an intimate ceremony in Goa on December 12.

Keerthi Suresh was the quintessential Tamil bride with a full nettichutti, jhumka, matti, surya chandra motifs on her hair, traditional andal kondai and the complete jadanagam on her braids. She wore traditional nose rings and intricate gold necklaces. On her hands she wore ethnic gold bangles and a vangi.

Keerthi wore a bespoke handloom Kanchipuram Anita Dongre saree in green and yellow. The yellow saree with purple piping was worn in the traditional madisar fashion. The saree had a gold zari check pattern with vaira oosi motifs. Keerthi paired the saree with a bottle green puff sleeved short sleeved blouse. Keerthi customised her bridal saree with a poem penned by her, woven into the fabric.

For the second part of the wedding ceremony, Keerthi wore the traditional red.  Her maroon saree belonged to her mother actor, Menaka Suresh.  It had had an elegant weave with silver thread work, which she paired with a sleek hair style and jasmine flowers.  Statement polki necklace and ruby studs complemented the simplicity of the traditional Benarasi saree.

Their pet dog, Nyke featured large in their wedding celebrations.
